Sam Bosma
Sam Bosma
Bosma just recently graduated college, and has been largely recognized for his work by several contemporary illustrative sources:
"My work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators NY (Illustration Annual 53 (three pieces), 2008 Zankel Scholarship finalist), Society of Illustrators LA (issue 47), Spectrum (issue 16 issue 17), the American Illustration 28 web gallery, as well as on Drawn! the illustration and cartooning blog. My first comic, The Magnificent Zhao, can be found in Popgun volume 3, from Image Comics, which won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Anthology My second comic, Turtle Soup, is available in The Anthology Project, volume 2. Clients include The New Yorker, Plansponsor, The Stranger, Gulf Life, Paste Magazine, Seattle Weekly, Cicada Magazine, Muse Magazine, and others."
He seems to advertise himself well on the internet...I think that's really important and how I found him/chose him.
